Akon Signs 14-year Old Kenyan onto Konvict Music Label

‘Welcome the newest member to the Konvict Music family in Kenya’ were the words that rang through peoples ears at the Sunday Akon Live family concert show that took place yesterday at the Carnivore Grounds.
Before his performance, Senegalese-American artiste and producer Akon took a bit of a breather and told the audience the story of a young 14 year old Kenyan boy, Wilson from Embakasi, who had a passion and talent for rapping but had not got the opportunity to further his dreams.
Akon gave Wilson lee way to perform before the charged crowd that went on to chant his name as they were stirred up. And true to the brimming talent the American producer saw in him, Wilson went on to rap his heart out, afterwhich Akon made the grand announcement.
